Our sources
We base every guide on official NYSC sources first, including the official NYSC portal, official circulars, and verified NYSC announcements.
Where official information is incomplete or not yet released, we say so clearly in the post rather than presenting assumptions as fact.
For details that change often, such as registration dates and camp schedules, we note when the information was last confirmed and flag anything still unofficial or circulating informally.
How we write our guides
Every guide is written to answer a specific question a corps member or prospective corps member actually has, then give a clear next step.
We avoid padding content with unnecessary length. A quick lookup guide stays short. A complete process guide goes as deep as the topic genuinely requires.
We write in plain language. If a term needs explaining, we explain it in the guide itself instead of assuming prior knowledge.
How we keep guides updated
NYSC rules, dates, and procedures change, sometimes with little public notice. Each guide shows a last updated date. When new official information appears, we revise the relevant guide rather than leaving outdated details live.

Corrections and feedback
We review every correction reported to us. Confirmed errors are fixed promptly. If a correction affects an entire guide, we revise the full post and update the last updated date to reflect the change.
What we do not do
We do not accept payment to present unofficial agents, document processors, or third party services as endorsed or recommended.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as successful registration, a particular posting, or exemption approval, since those decisions rest with NYSC, not with us.
